Bianca Cook, a taekwondo coach at Al-Ula Club, represented the International Taekwondo Federation at the Joint Leadership Workshop for Women in Sport, which was held in Lausanne, Switzerland, from October 3 to 5, 2026, and was jointly organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF).
Cook’s participation came after she was nominated by the International Taekwondo Federation to represent it at the workshop, which aims to promote women’s presence in leadership positions within the Olympic Movement and to develop participants’ skills in the areas of leadership, communication, negotiation, and campaign management.
The workshop was attended by a number of prominent leaders from the International Olympic Movement, led by Kirsty Coventry, President of the International Olympic Committee, and Dr. Thomas Bach, Honorary President of the International Olympic Committee, along with a select group of leaders and representatives from international sports federations.
