Al-Ula Club has seen 13 of its players called up to the Saudi national team across various age groups, led by first-team players Mohammed Al-Owais and Mohammed Al-Majhad, who have been selected for the senior squad in preparation for the 2026 World Cup. They are the only players from the First Division to feature on the Saudi national team’s squad list, an achievement that reflects the development and standard of Al-Ula Club. The club’s youth teams also made a notable impact with the inclusion of several players: Ahmed Ishaq and Fares Al-Shehri in defence, Muayad Youssef at right-back, Yasser Al-Harbi at left-back, and Tamim Al-Suhaimi in central defence, alongside Ammar Al-Qahtani and Rami Al-Nashiri in midfield, whilst the attack featured Noah Hosse and Saif Al-Subhi, in addition to goalkeepers Abdullah Abbas and Musaed Al-Shammari, all of whom were selected for the Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 national teams. This widespread representation of Al-Ela players across the various national teams underscores the success of the club’s technical and administrative work, and its role in nurturing and developing national talent.
